In this sermon, we explore how the enemy works to steal identity before destroying destiny. Jesus came not only to save us, but to restore us into the fullness of life He intended for us.
Through the five common soul wounds — Trauma, Hurt, Insecurity, Embarrassment, and Fear (THIEF) — we see how the enemy attacks the mind, emotions, and will, shaping false identities and strongholds within us.
But God’s desire is restoration. Through the finished work of Christ, the Holy Spirit renews and heals the soul, restores identity, and leads us back into freedom and purpose.
Using the life of David as a powerful example, this message reminds us that even deeply scarred experiences do not have the authority to define our future. God is still able to restore, rebuild, and redeem.
Your past may explain part of your story, but it does not determine the life God is calling you into.
